Subaru Impreza WRX STI 4-door Sedan (GV) Steel Braided Brake Line Kit

We have installed a set of SuperCircuit Steel Braided Brake Line Kit to the Subaru Impreza WRX STI 4-door Sedan (GV) which comes with the STI Brembo calipers.

The Subaru Impreza WRX STI original brake hoses are made of rubber. Most of the time, moisture will be absorbed into the brake fluid systems through rubber brake hoses and contaminate brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface, and affect the braking performance. It is advisable to check your rubber brake hoses frequently for possible faulty.

SuperCircuit Steel Braided Brake Hose installed to the front of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI sedan, replacing the factory fitted rubber brake hose, for firmer and more immediate brake response hence reduce braking distance during emergency braking. Honda Civic FD2R Steel Braided Brake Line Kit

Yet another Honda Civic Type-R (FD2R) installed the full set of SuperCircuit Steel Braided Brake Line Kit for better braking performance.

Datsun/ Nissan Sunny 130Y (B11) Steel Braided Brake Hose

Datsun/ Nissan Sunny 130Y (B11) produced in between 1981-1985 is definitely need to change the original rubber brake hose by now.

Stock rubber brake hose will have an average life of five to six years. Brake hoses deteriorate faster if under high operating temperatures e.g. down hills, heavy braking etc. Moisture will also be absorbed into the brake fluid systems through rubber brake hoses and contaminate brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface.

Datsun/ Nissan Sunny 130Y front original brake hose made of rubber, it is time to change.

Datsun/ Nissan 130Y Rear factory rubber brake hose is equally important.

The original Nissan Sunny 130Y rear rubber brake hose is just a short piece located near to the rear trailing arm (see below).

The stock rubber brake hoses have the possibility to absorb moisture and contaminate the brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface, and affect the braking performance. That's why the steel braided brake hoses come into the picture.

The factory stock breke hose for the rear of Mazda Lantis is made with rubber. The average life of the rubber brake hoses is 5-6 years, so it is better to check the condition of the rubber brake hose after a while, look for symptom such as swelling, cracks, chafing etc., before it is too late.

A layer of stainless steel woven material surrounding the Teflon core is preventing the brake hose from expanding under hot and boiling conditions. Hence, providing faster and more consistent braking response under all conditions especially under the overheating brake fluid conditions.
