The Technologies and Information of Brake Hoses

The stainless steel braided brake lines improve your braking performance with a quicker, firmer and consistent pedal response over a wide range of driving conditions.

100% street legal, compliant to the strictest requirement in the USA. suitable for dynamic driving and competition!

Brake is one of the most important aspects in automotive safety. SuperCircuit Stainless Steel Braided Brake Line direct bolt-on kit brings the ultimate in braking performance, safety and reliability to you and your loved ones.

<CONSTRUCTION>

All SuperCircuit Steel Braided Brake Hoses are constructed with 3 layers of engineered materials as show in the illustration below:

  • The PTFE Teflon inner core is very resistance to expansion under pressure i.e. during hard braking. It is also does not degrade from corrosive or under high temperate.
  • The Stainless Steel Braided Layer provides high strength over the PTFE Teflon core, to prevent further expansion under extreme pressure, incidental impact or compression.
  • The Poly-coated Layer provides further protection against abrasion or corrosion of harsh driving conditions.
  • Fittings are plated with Trivalent Zinc material for better anti-corrosive performance under all kind of driving conditions.
All SUPERCIRCUIT Steel Braided Brake Lines are 100% tested to 3000psi (almost 3 times higher than a normal vehicle master pump) and compliant to SAE J1404, DOT Standard FMVSS106 regulations.

<BENEFITS>

Since the steel braided brake hose is constructed by preventing it from expansion, the benefits of such construction will be:
  • Eliminates brake pedal sponginess even after prolonged braking or when brake fluid
    is reaching a certain high temperature and vaporizing effect of brake fluid is
    starting to occur.
  • Give immediate brake pedal response. All brake pressure is applied efficiently to the brake calipers instead of expanding the stock standard rubber hose.
  • Reduces braking distance during panic stop. Response time is shorten from the time the brake pedal is applied and actual vehicle deceleration.
  • Provides compatible with all kind of brake fluids.  International standards compliant and
    real D.O.T. conformance.

<PRECAUTIONS>

Faulty brake hoses are an invisible safety hazard.

Some facts about rubber brake hoses:
  • Aged rubber brake hoses can be dangerous. Average life of the rubber brake hoses is 5-6 years. Rubber brake hoses deteriorate from inside as well as outside.
  • Cracks outer layer can cause moisture to be absorbed into brake system and act abrasively on the rubber brake hoses and calipers.
  • High operation temperature causes blister or bubble to occur and deteriorating the performance of the rubber brake hoses.
  • Rubber brake hose swell with age, restricting brake fluid flow and brake pressure.
  • Also look for chafe mark or pressed mark on the rubber brake hose, normally caused by improper installation of coil overs, alloy wheels etc.
