Perodua Alza Steel Braided Brake Lines

No matter what type of car you are driving, be it a high performance sports car or the big people carrier, safety and be able to stop in time is always the priority.

Besides the brake rotors, calipers, tyre thread and one of the important aspects which is always being missed out, when upgrading the automotive brake system, is the brake hose. One will not obtain full braking performance if one of the above is not optimized.

Here is the Perodua Alza with the SUPERCIRCUIT Steel Braided Brake Hoses installed:

To access to the front brake hose of the Perodua Alza, remove the front wheel first.

This is the factory stock rubber brake hose of the Perodua Alza front braking system. The rubber brake hose tends to expand when the brake fluid is heated up under hard driving conditions e.g. downhills, track racing etc. When rubber brake hoses expand, that means more brake fluid is needed to reach the brake calipers and one need to press harder than usual. This phenomenon is often called 'brake fading'.

The SUPERCIRUCIT Steel Braided Brake Hose comprises of 3 layers of high-tech materials. Firstly, the Teflon core, then the Teflon core is surrounded with stainless steel braided layer which ensures it does not expand or swelling under such condition, so the braking performance is maintained even under very high operation temperature and extremely high braking pressure! The outer PVC coating shields it from elements so it can last for a long time.

There are 4 pieces of rubber brake hose in total, two at the front and two at the rear, for the Perodua Alza. For optimum performance, not to miss out the rear rubber brake hoses and all will be replaced with the SUPERCIRCUIT steel braided brake hoses.

This is the factory stock rubber brake hose of the Perodua Alza rear right hand side which will be replaced with the SUPERCIRCUIT Steel Braided Brake hose.

The USA engineered SuperCircuit steel Braided Brake Lines are compliant to Society of Automotive Engineers, International (SAE J1401) and DOT Standard Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS106) and every hose is tested to 3000 p.s.i. (normal brake master pump will reach around 1800 p.s.i.). Best of all, it comes with Lifetime Warranty*.
