Ford Ranger (T6) 3.2D Wildtrak Steel Braided Brake Lines

To further improve the braking performance of the Ford Ranger 3.2D Wildtrak e.g.  upgrading the disc rotors and calipers, one often omit the importance of the brake hoses.

Here at the SUPERCIRCUIT Steel Braided Brake Lines department, we have the solution for whose who understand the importance of the brake system.


The factory stock front brake hoses of the Ford Ranger are made of rubber (see pictures below). Most of the time, moisture will be absorbed into the brake fluid systems through rubber brake hoses and contaminate brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface, and affect the braking performance. It is advisable to check your rubber brake hoses frequently for possible faulty.



In the picture below, the Ford Ranger factory stock front rubber brake hoses are being changed to steel braided ones from SUPERCIRCUIT. The steel braided brake hose gives more feedback and more responsive against the factory fitted rubber brake hose due to the superior performance of the inner Teflon core and steel braided outer layer preventing the brake hose from expanding under severe conditions i.e. high temperature operation, heavy braking, down hills etc.


Both the factory stock rubber brake hoses of the Ford Ranger (T6) 3.2D Wildtrak is located at the middle of the rear axle as shown in the picture below. 


The rubber brake hoses are being replaced with the SUPERCIRCUIT Steel Braided Brake hoses. The steel braided brake hoses improve braking response, eliminate brake pedal sponginess, provide firm and immediate brake response hence reduce braking distance during emergency braking is especially important for such a heavy and big size truck.

Ford Ranger 3.2 Wildtrak with Lift Up Kit

Here at SUPERCIRCUIT, we not only supply ready made steel braided brake line kits, we can also custom made according to the specification of the customer's car. Just like the below 'body lifted' Ford Ranger T6 3.2D Wildtrak.


If you have a lifted 4WD or SUV, you have to check if the original rubber brake hoses have enough length especially when the suspensions traveled to the maximum. This is important because the brake hoses will give way if they are over stretched! Below is how the rubber brake hose being stretched when the wheel dropped to its lowest point.


Here at SUPERCIRCUIT, we carefully adjusted the length of the steel braided brake hoses to fit the front lifted suspension of this Ford Ranger 3.2D Wildtrek, so it is safe at all on and off road conditions.


At the rear of this Ford Ranger 3.2D Wildtrek, the car is lifted by the 'lift block' added to the leaf springs and now the vehicle body is further away from the axle causing the original rubber brake hoses being stretched.



The made to measure SUPERCIRCUIT steel braided brake hoses are carefully measured with the consideration of the travelling distance of the rear axle and is custom made to fit the lift-up distance of the vehicle itself. Unlike the rubber brake hoses, now it is very safer under all driving conditions and do not have the issue of being over stretched.
