Proton Persona Steel Braided Brake Line Kit

The SUPERCIRCUIT Steel Braided Brake Line Kit specially developed for the Proton Persona with rear drum brake version. Please refer to the below photos before and after the steel brake hoses are installed.

Factory stock rubber brake hose of the Proton Persona tends to deteriorate through expansion and moisture, especially under high operating temperatures; it will also swell with age and restrict brake fluid flow. So, inspect your rubber brake hoses frequently.

Proton Persona front rubber brake hose replaced with the steel braided one from SUPERCIRCUIT (picture below). The steel braided brake hose provide immediate braking response. It is firmer and the braking will not fade under severe braking conditions. The Teflon inner hose is able to withstand high temperature and the steel braided layer preventing the hoses from swelling under high pressure braking.

The Proton Persona comes in two variants, one with the rear drum brakes and the other variant with rear disc brakes. The brake hoses are not commonized and can't inter-swap with each other. The Proton Persona rear drum brakes variant is shown below.

Proton Suprima S Steel Braided Brake Line Kit

The lifetime warrant* Proton Suprima S steel braided brake line kit is now available at SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop or its authorized dealer.

Under most driving conditions, the USA engineered SuperCircuit steel braided brake hose gives more feedback and better braking response against the factory fitted rubber brake hose.

The front braking system of Proton Suprima S comes with ventilated disc brake.

Rubber brake hoses have the possibility to absorb moisture and contaminate the brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface, and affect the braking performance. That's why the steel braided brake hoses come into the picture.

The USA engineered steel braided brake lines from SuperCircuit are with Teflon inner core which doesn't absorb moisture and very corrosive resistance, hence minimizes the weakness of the rubber brake hoses.

A layer of stainless steel woven material surrounding the Teflon core is preventing the brake hose from expanding under hot and boiling conditions. Hence, providing faster and more consistent braking response under all conditions e.g. overheating brake fluid.
