Factory stock rubber brake hose of the Proton Persona tends to deteriorate through expansion and moisture, especially under high operating temperatures; it will also swell with age and restrict brake fluid flow. So, inspect your rubber brake hoses frequently.
Proton Persona front rubber brake hose replaced with the steel braided one from SUPERCIRCUIT (picture below). The steel braided brake hose provide immediate braking response. It is firmer and the braking will not fade under severe braking conditions. The Teflon inner hose is able to withstand high temperature and the steel braided layer preventing the hoses from swelling under high pressure braking.
The Proton Persona comes in two variants, one with the rear drum brakes and the other variant with rear disc brakes. The brake hoses are not commonized and can't inter-swap with each other. The Proton Persona rear drum brakes variant is shown below.
