The SuperCircuit Steel Braided Brake Line Kit for Honda Stream (RN6, model year 2006-present) is now available from SuperCircuit or its authorized dealers.
It is an important part of the whole braking system which contributes significant braking performance. Even after you have upgraded to a better rotors, be it slotted or cross drilled, or even you have a set of high performance brake pads, without a set of good steel braided brake lines, you don't get the full out of your braking system!
<FRONT BRAKE HOSE>
The original factory stock brake hose of the Honda Stream is made of rubber. Moisture will be absorbed into the brake fluid systems through rubber brake hoses and contaminate brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface, and affect the braking performance. It is advisable to check your rubber brake hoses frequently for possible faulty.
Secondly, rubber hose tends to expand under high temperature, hence reducing the braking response and delaying the brake fluid pressure to arrive at the brake calipers.
The SuperCircuit Steel braided brake hose installed to the front of the Honda Stream below. The steel braided brake hose is made with TEFLON core which is able to withstand high temperature, covered with stainless steel braided middle layer to eliminate the expansion, lastly the outer layer is covered with PVC material to protect the brake hose from substances.
<REAR BRAKE HOSE>
The rear brake hoses of the vehicle are equally important. Below is the Honda Stream rear brake system before and after installing the SuperCircuit steel braided brake hose.
Replacing the factory stock rubber brake hoses with SuperCircuit steel braided brake hoses to eliminate brake pedal sponginess, provide firm and immediate brake response hence reduce braking distance during emergency braking.
SuperCircuit steel Braided Brake Lines are compliant to Society of Automotive Engineers, International (SAE J1401) and DOT Standard Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS106) and every hose is tested to 3000 p.s.i. (normal brake master pump will reach around 1800 p.s.i.). Best of all, it comes with lifetime warranty*.
