Stock front brake hoses of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI are made of rubber. Most of the time, moisture will be absorbed into the brake fluid systems through rubber brake hoses and contaminate brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface, and affect the braking performance. It is advisable to check your rubber brake hoses frequently for possible faulty.
Note the SuperCircuit Steel Braided Brake Hose for Subaru Impreza WRX STI front braking system is tighten and secured to the factory original brake hose braket, it is important that the brake hose is not rubbing against any moving component here!
