Brake hoses deteriorate faster if under high operating temperatures e.g. down hills, heavy braking, off road etc. Moisture will also be absorbed into the brake fluid systems through rubber brake hoses and contaminate brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface....
Therefore, the USA technology SuperCircuit Steel Braided Brake Hose with Teflon inner hose, wrapped by stainless steel braided middle section and then coated with PVC, minimized the weakness of the rubber brake hose. It also response faster and more consistent under heavy braking or panic braking conditions.
