Factory fitted stock rubber brake hose will have an average life of six years. Brake hoses deteriorate faster if under high operating temperatures e.g. down hills, heavy braking etc. Moisture will also be absorbed into the brake fluid systems through rubber brake hoses and contaminate brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface....
SuperCircuit steel braided brake hose, with Teflon inner hose, wrapped by stainless steel braided middle section and then coated with PVC, minimized the weakness of the rubber brake hose.
Do you know that your Proton Inspira/ Mitsubishi Lancer has 6 sections of rubber brake hose around? Each 1 piece for the front wheels, and 2 pieces for the rear left and rear right wheels respectively.
Proton Inspira/ Mitsubishi Lancer rear brake system comes in 2 sections. This is the 1st section of the stock factory fitted rear rubber brake hose.
Many has omitted this middle brake hose section which located just behind the rear axle. These rubber brake hoses will also has the possibility of contribute to the braking failure and should not be omitted.
