Mini Cooper S (F56) Steel Braided Brake Lines

We have supplied and installed the SUPERCIRCUIT Steel Braided Brake Lines to the Mini Cooper S (F56) shown below for better braking response and to improve the stopping performance.

<FRONT BRAKES>

Firstly, the front wheels of the Mini Cooper S (F56) is removed in order to access to the front brake hoses.

The below picture shows how the factory stock original front rubber brake hose of the Mini Cooper S (F56). Nothing wrong with original rubber brake hoses, they are cheaper to produce and also serve the purpose of transferring the brake fluid pressure to the calipers accordingly.

However, under extreme or hard braking conditions, when the brake fluid starts to boil, the brake pedal slackens and the braking power drops significantly. When brake fluid boils, air locks are produced that can be compressed; therefore brake pedal can be pressed right down to the floor but the vehicle brakes will not be applied i.e. brake fade.

Therefore, we replaced the front rubber brake hoses of the Mini Cooper S (F56) with the SUPERCIRCUIT Steel Braided Brake Hoses as shown in the picture below, for better stopping power and significantly improve braking response.

The SUPERCIRCUIT front steel braided brake hoses also come with compatible brackets which is crucial to secure the front brake hose in position regardless how the front wheels are steered or how the front suspensions are travelled, so it is not rubbing with anything around it e.g. rims, tyres or the front shock absorbers.

<REAR BRAKES>

Equally important is the rear braking system, so the Mini Cooper S (F56) rear factory stock original rubber brake hoses are replaced with the SUPERCIRCUIT steel braided brake lines for a firmer and more responsive braking hence reducing the stopping distance during emergency braking.

The original rear rubber brake hoses of the Mini Cooper S (F56) can be accessed after the rear wheels are removed and we replaced them with the SUPERCIRCUIT steel braided brake hoses for better braking performance.

The length of each SUPERCIRCUIT steel braided brake line on the Mini Cooper S (F56) is carefully calibrated so they are not subjected to over stretching or compressed during the rear suspension movements. Further more, the PTFE Teflon inner core is very resistance to expansion under pressure i.e. during hard braking. It is also does not degrade from corrosive or under high temperate.
