The wheel is removed at the front in order to access to the brake hoses.....

Factory fitted rubber brake hose of the Honda CR-Z. Stock rubber brake hose will have an average life of five to six years. Brake hoses deteriorate faster if under high operating temperatures e.g. down hills, heavy braking etc. Moisture will also be absorbed into the brake fluid systems through rubber brake hoses and contaminate brake fluid, contaminated brake fluid can be harmful to the rubber brake hoses' inner surface....

Note the 'metal holding bracket' at the centre of the hose is replaced with the SuperCircuit professionally made bracket too! This metal bracket is specially made to let the steel braided brake hose in place, no chance to touch the suspension or any moving parts at the wheel. Not the cable tie type used by certain aftermarket brake hose.

SuperCircuit Steel Braided Brake Hose with Teflon inner hose, wrapped by stainless steel braided middle section and then coated with PVC, minimized the weakness of the rubber brake hose. It also response faster and more consistent under heavy braking or panic braking conditions.

 The rear wheel is removed!

After removing the rear wheel, you will see the factory fitted rubber brake hose.... the centre section with the 'holding bracket' will be replaced with SuperCircuit professionally made steel braided brake line holding bracket.

Replaced it with the SuperCircuit steel braided brake line for significantly improved braking performance over the rubber brake hose.
